Alice Máselníková

Máselníková is a visual artist, curator, and project manager. She is one of the creative directors of the independent art fair Supermarket, which is in 2025 held underneath the shopping centre of Skärholmen in Stockholm’s suburb. The art fair is a haven for independent artists from all countries and backgrounds and is an annual event to not miss.

Alice has a background in education and has, among others, designed a course for the prestigious Swedish art school Konstfack. She is the founder of the artist- and curator-run collective Flat Octopus, which promotes specifically young and less-established artists and provides them with exhibition, networking and collaboration opportunities. She also co-founded the European project Artist-Run Network Europe. Her paintings, photography and poetry addresses themes of nature, mythology, dreams, longing, relationships, and failure.
