Tsarimira Georgieva

Tsarimira Georgieva is an accomplished artist and educator who has made Blagoevgrad her creative and professional home. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts Pedagogy from South-West University “Neofit Rilski” and a Master’s degree in the same field from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski.” Furthering her expertise, she specialized in art therapy at New Bulgarian University.

Tsarimira’s artwork has been showcased in numerous group and solo exhibitions, with her pieces featured in private collections across Europe and the USA. Her unique approach involves incorporating waste materials such as hemp threads, linen, nylon, and lace into her paintings, creating textured foundations that resonate with audiences and emphasize sustainable art practices. These innovative methods have inspired both children and adults to transform discarded materials into creative masterpieces. In 2025, her artistry will take on a new dimension as her works will be featured in the set design of an upcoming Bulgarian feature film.

In addition to her artistic endeavors, Tsarimira is deeply engaged in education. She teaches at the Center for Personal and Creative Development of Children in Blagoevgrad, mentors future educators at South-West University, and co-founded the MontessoriArt Training Center. Her dedication to education earned her an award from the Municipality of Blagoevgrad in 2015 for her contributions to education and science.
