William C. Woxlin

I’m an artist, playwright, composer and theatre director from Sweden. I often work interdisciplinary, mixing art, absurd theatre, music, performance, film, experimental and conceptual art.

Within my work, I explore themes concerning the philosophical and psychological human experience and the social impact in relation to apocalyptic catastrophes, disasters, crises and the environment, often aiming to incorporate heavy social criticism, satire and dark tragicomedy.

I have worked within multiple art fields, as performance, music, theatre, film and fine arts, and through all of my work I have found myself drawn to found objects and the history that come with them. How ordinary and mundane objects and spaces can come alive and tell a story and create new stories.
